The light blue and gold combi turned out well! Too bad the blue polish was matte, and therefore slightly thicker, so the masking lines (made by hole punch stickers) were not as crisp and I had to conceal it with dots.

Apply gold base, place striping tape, cover with a coat of black, and quickly remove the tape while the black coat is still wet.

Left the striping tape on instead of using it as a mask this time. But it started peeling within a day (even with a top coat!), so I’m glad I took a shot of this before it came off.

First a turquoise base, then scotch tape stripes, and paint over with black polish.

Against a black base, I sponged on some white first, followed by burnt orange, purple, a dash of pink, and then added a little bit of glitter on the egdes of the splattered masses.
