Hello Nails

Got to love the houndstooth template.

Apply gold base, place striping tape, cover with a coat of black, and quickly remove the tape while the black coat is still wet. 

Mint and shatter.

Dotted with a nail art pen.

Created some diagonal tips with the help of scotch tape.

Blue glitter on black. 

Glittery gold against glittery black.

Inspired by this post which I saw a week back. My lines weren’t as perfect as hers, so I added the yellow dots to hide the imperfections. But I’m still pretty pleased with the experiment!

China Glaze matte top coat on top of L.A. Girl’s matte polish.

My first attempt at a freehand french tip. Not so perfect, so I covered it up with some white sewing lines. 

Love the stamping effect… Kinda looks like lace. But I think purple is still too gay for me.

Sticking to lines and dots to get good art pen patterns.

I’m leaving this one plain because I’m in love with the colour itself. It’s gorgeous!

Took a long time testing out different brands of nail polishes before I could find the right liquidity and colour for this!

The blue is actually diamonds, but it failed to come out nicely, so I added the black pattern.
